BIreCYCLE
CENTER OF EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND TRAINING (C.E.R.T) from ROMANIA is looking for Slovak volunteers under the umbrella of European Solidarity Corps program. The project is open for young people between 18-30 years of age without prior experience with a long-term ESC project. A participant is expected to speak at least basic level of English.
MAIN ACTIVITIES VOLUNTEERS WILL RUN:
▸Nutrition sessions and presentations
▸Bike animation in Parks for kids and
youth games, bike/carting lessons, modelling balloons, juggling
▸ Weekly bicycle tours in forests and hills outside Craiova
▸ Promotion of green transport and eco activism
▸Mark bike routes , cleaning and recycling events
▸Games and sportive competitions in schools
▸Regional sport events
▸Bikes and sport equipment renting bank
MAIN ROLES:
▸connect and engage the local young people in the volunteering to maximize impact of the project
▸communicate the project's activities and results with the international audience using digital media
VOLUNTEERS WILL PREPARE DURING THE PROJECT:
▸brochures in topics such as climate change, sustainable development, health and nutrition, digital literacy and animation
▸structure of a public sport event
▸Higher motivation to respect daily nutrition and physical activity habits, a routine of health
▸Better understanding of diversity, solidarity and volunteering as tools for social development and cohesion
▸More hours of physical activity and reduced food, energy, waste consumption
▸Greater responsiveness to societal challenges and recovery
▸Attending National Agency and host trainings
▸Local transportation, 1 sim card, internet in accommodation and working areas
▸150 euro food money, 90 euro pocket money every month (NOT salary, only cover of subsistence covered by the ESC program)
▸Have mentorship support and Romanian language lessons
▸Signed volunteering contract
▸Proper accommodation and volunteering conditions
▸CIGNA insurance
▸YOUTHPASS CERTIFICATE at the end of the project
