I'm Claudia, a 23 years old girl from Málaga, one port city located in the South of Spain. I am an active, extroverted and sociable person that loves sports, dogs and watching English series or reading English books.

Why did I want to enter a program of the ESC?

I have just finished a degree on Primary English Teaching and I am at a crucial moment in my life since I will soon start a Master's degree on Bilingual Teaching and Integrated Learning of Content and Froreign Languages. Also, I will start to study for the public examinations to be a public worker. Thus, I still have a period of approximately two months to begin with my duties. Then,I decided to look for opportunities to improve my professional competences and I found this project "Find yourself in volunteering", an eco volunteering that lasts 2 months. I thought this could be amazing since I had done volunteering before but never with something related to taking care of the environment. Moreover, I realised this could be an opportunity to learn about it and share my learning with my future students. Because, "nothing is better than learning through practise". 

Why did I choose Bratislava? 

Because I thought that this city has a different culture and I wanted to learn about it. I believed the majority of its inhabitants would speak good English and its location could allow me to travel to many different places.
